Game Over This week I will do the top 6 events that happened in the WWF in the past 6 months. Later in December I will write about all 12 months.6. This would probably have to be The Rock winning the title at King of the Ring only because it set up 4-5 months of main events. The Rock won the title when he got the title off of Triple H by pinning Vince McMahon. I also think this is the greatest injustice of the year because Triple H didn't even get pinned but he still lost the title! 5. Triple H versus Jericho. This will be one of the matches in Jericho's career that will catapult him into main event status when the bookers look it over. It also helped Triple H get over as a huge heel. This match made the fans like Jericho more because of his no quit attitude and hate Triple H more because of his ruthless, uncaring, hating ways. This match helped both superstars with their careers. 4. Kurt Angle wins the title. This makes Kurt Angle have a bigger ego than he already has. It makes him look like the greatest superstar in the history of the WWF! This could be only the beginning for Angle. He has only been in the WWF for about a year and won the IC, European, and World titles! He could be the second Grand Slam Champion ever! 3. Kane turns on Taker. Some people might be saying now, how was this a huge event. Well, the Undertaker has a shot this Sunday at Survivor Series to win the Title. He wouldn't be here if they didn't break away. This separated any chance of seeing a long-lasting Kane-Undertaker feud. Kane is catapulting Jericho and Taker's gonna win the title. And personally, I'd rather see anything besides another Kane-Undertaker feud (except Mae Young or Pat Patterson, keep them off the air as long as possible!) 2. The beginning of young stars main eventing! I like watching these new guys in the main event. It was starting to become annoying watching Austin, Rock, Taker, and Triple H every week. Seeing guys like Jericho, Benoit, Angle, to an extent Guerrero and more recently "The One Billy Gun." (Thank God they aren't calling him Billy G.) This all started in the beginning of the year when Jericho won the title off Triple H. (He won no matter what anyone tells me) Then it continued at Fully loaded and just carried on into the year. I hope to see Jericho champion before the middle of 2001! 1. The hit-and-run of Austin. This has been the main even of the past 3 months and shows no signs of stopping! It looks as if things are starting to come together but I have a feeling something will shake up this angle. Maybe as early as Survivor Series. I wouldn't be surprised if HBK has something to do with this. There are so many things its hard to deny. First, HBK is supposedly supposed to face Austin at Wrestlemania 2001. Then when HBK denied he had nothing to do with it. His facial expression said otherwise. But anyway, this angle looks to keep going into and even past Wrestlemania. We'll just have to wait and watch!
